Clinic 4/24

It's SUMMER!!! I am so excited that this is our last week in school for the semester. I can't even believe that I've made it this whole year. There was a time that I really didn't know if I would make it and look where we are now! I can't believe how the time has just FLOWN by! It's amazing that your life can go so fast sometimes! Monday was really my last clinic day because I'm done with my quads. I'm going tomorrow but just to pass off that silly air powder polisher PE. Can't wait for summer. This is going to be the best summer ever I think. No school, making some money, going on a couple of trips, and maybe, just maybe I'll get these blasted braces off:) It'll be nice to relax for a few months. I won't be wanting to go back in the fall! I envy those seniors at the moment. Well anyway, goodbye until September when I see my first patient as a SENIOR! :) Woohoo!!

Clinic 4/17

I can't believe it's almost over! Tonight was the welcome meeting for the new first years so that makes me a second year and I never really thought I'd be to this point! It's so crazy. Well, I had a friend come in last week and he ended up being a class 2 so I'm done with all my requirements and just need 3 more quads to get an A in clinic. That will be a piece of cake within 3 more clinic sessions. I'm really excited. I was so scared that I wouldn't meet my requirements at all this semester and now I'm done!It really makes me feel so good. Today I had my brother so once again..it was nice and relaxing having someone I knew. I love summer, can't wait!

I had another 1B today but I was able to do a sealant too so that was great! I originally had 2 sealant patients scheduled but they canceled on me tues night. I got my step mom to come in. I really need a class 2! THAT'S IT!! Anyone?

Clinic 4/3

Hey! So I had another easy 1B today. My pt was pregnant so I didn't have to take xrays on her. Does anyone still feel like they don't know what they're doing? I get done and I get the calculus off I think but I just feel like I'm kinda doing it my way..??? I don't know. I'm thinking maybe I'll work on my typodont again this weekend as silly as that sounds.
