Hey! I had my step bro here today so that was just wonderful. He was another 1B of course but that's ok. It was an easy day. I really need to focus on passing off PE's though. I think I'm behind

So I had my friend come in today and he was an easy 1B. It went really smooth. I took a pano on him too so I got one of those done. I'm getting excited to keep filling up my little yellow paper with the quads that I finish. Done for the week..yippeee!!
Well, it was a crazy day coming back from spring break. I had a 1A that was just 7 but it took a lot longer than I thought. She was so cute and we did sealants on her at the end. I did 1, and 3 other girls did 1 each too. It was a traumatic experience. I think more traumatic for me than for the little girl!!! I hadn't done a sealant since we did them on eachother and I had forgotten stuff. Well, then she coughed and it scared me to death and she was not liking the whole situation so I was trying to hurry and I was nervous and shaking. Oh my gosh, I like putting sealants on adults. It is a LOT easier!! It was a good experience. It's called Baptism by Fire, right? Is that the term? Well whatever it is, I'm sure the next time will be better. bye
Hey, so I had an easy 1B last week and then Wednesday I was CA. I got some BWX's and then cleaned up my 1B really quickly and she was out the door. That was my first appt that I actually went from start to finish in just one appt! I was so happy. It really felt good. I'm glad I'm done being CA. I don't really like doing it because I feel like I'm getting behind everyone else. Oh well, have a great spring break everyone! I can't wait to sleep in and stuff. It'll be so nice.
Hey everyone. I had a really good experience this week. My patient came in monday morning and ended up being a class 3! We took bitewings, OD check, and then I started scaling. I used the ultrasonic which helped out a lot and then went in with my gracey's and everything. He had an 8mm pocket, a couple of 7mm's, and several 4's, 5's, and 6's. It was great! I had a pretty successful day on Monday with the scaling. Kami helped me a ton because she was just handing me the instruments I needed to use. It was great! I just scaled 1 quad. Today he came back this morning and I worked all day on him. I got one quad done this morning and the other 2 this afternoon. I really had a hard time with that da** tenacious calculus though. I had one scale check and then I got some more off and on my 2nd scale check, I still missed a couple of spots. Ughhh..so I'm a little frustrated. I know I just need to work on it more. It was nice to actually use my gracey's finally. I would say it was a successful experience for the most part.
